About

Seek was created as a result of two things; Our profound passion for unique children, and a realization that the resources available to assist in developing learning foundations for these children are incredibly limited in today’s educational environment.

Our vision is to do whatever we can to ensure that every special need child reaches their full potential by providing accessible, affordable and highly effective solutions.

Between us, we have 21 years of experience in the field of special needs education, and specialize in the fields of ABA and early intervention models and execution.

We work closely with Occupational and Speech therapists, as well as Specialist Teachers, and through our collaboration with both local and international child behavioural experts, our clients are able to leverage off our experience, thus adding immense value to their child’s development, ultimately resulting in a happier more functional child.

We are hands-on, and employ a dynamic, flexible approach. We believe that a crucial cog in the success of inclusive strategies is the role played by parents and tutors.

We do not see parents as ‘clients’ but as ‘partners’ in the educational process.

We understand that whilst we may not be able to tailor the world to better suit these extraordinary children, we can certainly work together in creating powerful and lasting synergies to close the gap, and see them not only cope, but ultimately thrive.

The Māori word for autism is ‘Takiwātanga’. Meaning in my own time and space.
